Reagan's heart pounded in his chest as adrenaline surged through his veins. It was a feeling though, because he didn't have a beating heart.

He had been lying in wait, hidden behind a huge tree, hoping to catch the vampire off guard. But now, their carefully laid plans had Ben discovered, and his cover had been blown. There was no point in hiding any longer.

As he burst through his hiding place, Reagan could hear Arin's urgent voice echoing in his head, pleading for him to stop. But he couldn't heed the call.

The vampire was on the move, and Reagan couldn't let him escape. With determination fueling his every step, he leaped over a fallen tree with lightning speed, pushing his body to its limits as he pursued the elusive Vampire through the dense forest.

The figure of the vampire darted ahead, effortlessly maneuvering through the trees with an otherworldly grace that only Vampires possess. Reagan knew that if he lost sight of him now, it would be nearly impossible
