Elora's POV.

“That hurts!” He smiled, but I knew he wasn't fine.

“It would have hurt more if you didn't find out in time!” I pointed out, and without hesitation, I closed the box. I bet he could see me too, he could see how sad I was.

Bryce's hand reached for mine, and taking my hand into his, he made me turn to look at him.

“I just didn't want you to worry, and that was why I kept it away from you, Elora… I'm sorry!” He let out, and I couldn't help but nod.

“I'm sorry I made you go through this… I didn't mean to!” I mumbled softly.

“Quit crying, it doesn't suit you!” He gave notice to my acts, prompting me to wipe the tears from my cheeks.

I felt so bad as I sat down with Bryce that for a second, I wished he was going to heal up fast and get back to his normal self again.
