I Must Find Her!

Lucious' pov.

"Huh?" I furrowed my brows, my face turning pale at what I had just heard. My mind which wasn't fully concentrated on her came back the moment she said the words that left her lips.

My lips parted on their own, her hands slowly losing grip on mine. She had noticed I had calmed so she was okay with me staring at her like that.

Her statement sounded again, and again in my ears, but I still couldn't believe it. It was like I was in a daze struggling to come out of what was holding me bound.

There was something about the way she said it like she was sure of every word she was saying.

"The child was confirmed dead. How then was she pregnant for me, was it another baby?'' so many questions loomed around my mind, causing me to be on a mind wrecking roller coaster.

I turned back so I could get a better view of her, my eyes searching hers to know if she was lying, but it was true. Her heart didn't flinch, or skip a beat like it was supposed to.
