I'd never been so mad before. "Seriously, does he think I'm dumb?" I muttered, waiting for him to finish before glaring at him.

Nelson looked mostly the same, but the dim room only revealed what the fiery light wanted.

A smirk formed on my face; my turn to speak. I wanted to prove I could move on with or without him, no matter what he said.

"Nelson, you can keep your secret. Unlike you, I'm not out there looking for secrets to spill. And honestly, I don't have any juicy ones to share. Let me be clear: I really don't care!"
