Aurora's POV.

My eyes locked onto his as we stood at the entrance to the dining room. His expression was filled with worry, but inside me, anger and disdain raged like a tempest.

Simply being in his presence took all the self-control I could muster because I yearned to unleash my fury upon him. I wanted to tell him how utterly repulsed I was by his actions, by the disclosure I had heard earlier.

The thought that he would consider harming his own child in order to break a senseless curse was beyond reprehensible.

Just thinking about it fueled my anger to a boiling point. There was no way he couldn't sense the seething anger emanating from me, for his gaze upon me now was one of bewilderment, likely a reaction to the intense look on my face.

"A curse!" I seethed inwardly, my eyes boring into him. I struggled to quell the storm of emotions raging within me, desperately attempting to calm my racing heart.
