Connor

“What do you want, Seth?” I exhaled as I left Aubrey in the elevator, hoping we could continue from where we stopped by the time Seth spat out the nonsense he called me for as if he couldn’t understand I was on a break.

“Connor. Why am I getting a call from your room line? Aren’t you all the way far from the palace?”

My brows knitted together. “That’s strange. From my room? Are you sure?”

He sighed and I could almost hear his eyes roll from the phone. “Of course I’m sure, Connor. I called back but it wasn’t going through anymore. So I decided to call this line.”

My head throbbed as I racked my brain for explanations but found none. Did someone sneak into my room and called Seth using my phone? That’s the only possible explanation unless the ghost in my cupboard did it to fuck with me.
