I ran into my room, and landed onto the bed, bursting int tears as I fisted my bed tight.

Connor loves me?

He was so ready to sacrifice everything for me, and what did I say?

But I knew if I had accepted, it would be mediocre. What if he finds his mate, more pretty and more fit to be a beta female? From a good family and his mother could approve of her.
