Forty-Seven

The rays of sun flooded my eyes immediately I widened them, and I winced, feeling my migraine worsen.

"I'll pull the curtains close." The voice sent warmth through me, and I pried my eyes open again, now easily because of the closed curtains.

Seth stood beside the bed, gazing down at my form. My eyes searched his face, as I tried to recollect what brought me to his room, and why I was in his clothes and not mine.

He moved closer towards me, taking a seat on the spot on the bed beside me. My eyes followed his movements, and I tried to sit up, but I suddenly felt a bout of dizziness.

"Woah, take it easy, fighter." He chuckled as he helped me lay back on my back. His words sent my memories flooding back in. Brittany and I.

Brittany almost killing me. Oh goddess. My hand flew over my mouth. I could have died. I could have died if not because Seth came at that particular moment.
