My heart throbbed as I laid in the bed, and I adjusted to find the best position to sleep on the unusually hard bed.

Birds chirped from outside the window, a rare occurrence. Infact, this was the first time a bird had ever chirped outside this prison—

"What sort of pregnant woman are you? The one who gets selective or the one who gets hungrier?"

My eyes fluttered open, and I was met with a beautiful woman who seemed to be a bit younger than Luna Tia. Her warm eyes smiled at me as she placed a tray beside the bed and moved to sit beside me, but I flew to the other side of the bed.

I knew something was off. The prison had no windows. And the bed wasn't as hard as this one.

The woman looked a bit offended at my scepticism but she hid it well, mixing my tea.

"Who are you?" I stuttered, keeping my eyes trained on her.

She watched me with warmth in her eyes, and she patted the edge of the bed. "Come sit, I want to tell you a story."
