As Allegra stormed out of the room, leaving me alone with my thoughts, I couldn't help but feel a sense of frustration washing over me. Never before had anyone made me feel so powerless. The weight of the situation settled heavily on my shoulders, and I found myself sinking into the couch, grappling with a mixture of emotions. Deep down, I knew that Allegra needed time to process everything, but it didn't make the wait any easier.
