Chapter 58_ Questions

Doctor Allen fed Vanessa her meal, she needed to eat before her next medication and also to keep her baby healthy.

He still couldn't understand why Vanessa never spoke about Manuel exiting the hospital. Maybe she was slowly getting over him. Allen was happy, At least he got a chance now.

Vanessa coughed lightly after eating a spoonful of the meal, Allen gave her water to drink. "Sorry" he apologized to her. "it isn't your fault, Allen"

Allen noticed how Vanessa's mood was, he thought of what to say to cheer her up.

"At least the baby is fine. Can you tell me what happened? Who attacked you?" Allen asked Vanessa.

He knew clearly that she didn't plan on answering his questions. Vanessa remained silent, she just took the spoon again and wanted to eat. Her cut on her hand hurt and she couldn't eat properly.

Allen collected the spoon and resumed feeding her. Vanessa was filled but she didn't want to stop eating, it'll only make her think about Manuel again or Allen's questions.
