Chapter 27: A Tale of Two Rivals

"Well, I won't say you ain't a moron, but, Pascal, what you accused me of is meaningless, why would I send a lowly demon to attack Katie Clyde?" Marcus retorted coldly.

Pascal raised his eyebrows and snorted coldly, "if you don't want me to hunt down all your demons and send them back to hell, they should stay away from me and the people around me"

Marcus stood on his feet, he stuck a hand in his pocket, and the both of them stood some metres away from each other.

"Well, I have heard, who is Katie Clyde to you? oh, let me guess, she is your second chance mate, what a shame" Marcus sneered.

Pascal snarled "none of your business" and teleported out of Marcus' presence.

Marcus looked down at Kelvin, he snapped his finger, and a thick darkness like a cloud shape rose.

"you failed to do your work properly," Marcus told the demon.

"I am sorry, Master, I failed to carry out my duty, punish me," he said in a regretful tone.
