Unexpected Mate

Connie’s POV

I had searched the pack grounds for clues to the alpha’s missing pup and talked to all the women of the pack. This kidnapping was taking a toll on everybody’s sanity. Now I was once again in the library in the mansion and my wolf was clawing to break free. I crossed my arms over my chest and stared at the most handsome man I had ever seen. I knew what he was the moment I saw him and I didn’t trust or even like his kind. My mind was racing as my wolf repeated the word mate in my head. I begged her to calm down and let me think. I have always wanted to be with my mate and I will even admit to myself that I was envious of everyone around me finding their mate and not me. Now I was confused and not sure what to think. He stared at me and his sky blue eyes sparkled as he smirked. I listened to the witch Kit and my queen talk about the situation but I couldn’t look away from my new mate. I wanted to just take him to my room and lock the door and have my way with him. My body f
