A few days passed and I had tried to make time every morning to travel to Whitlock, had seen my mum walking to her work each time, but I hadn’t seen Leo or my father again since, and Violet had become quiet too. The last we knew of her, was a letter two of Wayne’s guards had reported back to us. In the letter she had told her friend where the evacuation tunnel was and how she was planning on luring the Luna to the field once the battle had started. She didn’t detail exactly how she was going to get her there, but according to the guards she seemed very excited about handing over Addison to her friend to kill himself.

As much as Addison wouldn’t be of any loss to me, I could only imagine what it would do to Leo, I know he’d be in that fight himself, so for him to have to witness his own mother being killed right in front of him sent a cold shiver down my spine.
