My breath panted and my eyes went wide as I stared at him, his brows furrowed as he looked just as shocked as I was. “Raven!”. He breathed out with a croak in his voice.

I immediately jumped onto him, wrapping my arms around his shoulders and burying my nose into his shirt as I breathed in his scent, only it wasn’t the homely smell it used to be. “Dad!”. I started to cry as his arms went around me and squeezed me tightly. “You’re here!”. I sobbed with disbelief.

“Oh, Raven”. He cried and I could feel his chest whole body shaking. “You’re alive… you’re ok, we have been out of our minds with worry, we couldn’t take it anymore, I just had to come and find you”.

“You’re here for me?”. My eyes streamed with tears as I pulled back to look at him.

“Of course, my sweet girl. I was just so afraid I was too late! But here you are…. Here you are in my arms, my beautiful daughter”. He smiled with pride through his tears. “We’ve missed you so much”.
