I ran my fingers along the side of Mason's face, tracing the outline of his jaw. How could he be aroused at a time like this? Grayson and Lucas had gone to check on Alex. They could walk in on us at any second.

We can't fool around on the sofa. He's hurt, for goodness’ sake.

“On a serious note, I was worried sick about you all,” I told him, feeling crushed with guilt. “If I had just stayed home like I was supposed to, maybe none of this would have happened.”

Mason sighed a frail smile. “Let’s just leave the past behind us and focus on our future. Our family is growing. We’re going to be so happy living our best lives, nothing else will matter.”

His lazy tone put me at ease. Mason's laid-back attitude and the provocative look in his eyes suggested one thing — he was horny, and he wanted some pussy action.
