Eira’s POV

“Eira, it’s me,” I heard Selene’s voice coming from the door and I heaved a sigh.

“Can you wait a bit for me at the pavilion? I will be outside soon,” I mumbled. Feeling relieved that it was Selene and not Dolphus or the vampire king.

It would have been disastrous.

“Come out quickly, okay? I brought so much delicious meat for you,” I could hear the excitement in her voice and I smiled.

“Alright I will,” I answered back and I heard her leave.

After a while, I came out of the medical room and saw that the Full Moon was up, but the Heat Resistance medicine had now taken effect. I couldn’t be more grateful.

Thank goddess, I had thought of that wonderful idea earlier, else I would have been stuck with the vampire King all night.

I couldn’t even imagine what would have happened.

Getting to the pavilion, I saw that it wasn’t only Selene that was waiting. I could also see the lone figure of Dolphus but he was looking uninterested no matter what Selene was telling him.
