CAMILA

It's a new week and as I stood in front of the mirror, I couldn't help but get scared. Will I be bullied? Chloe will mock me I'm sure of it. Will anyone save me? No, I'm sure no one will, even Henry. He hasn't even called me, he didn't bother to call me. I bit on my lip as I sat on the table. Should I just skip school? No, they're going to call me weak. I'll be weak in front of them.

"You can do this Camila, it was a contest and besides the Governor rewarded you" I told myself.

Yeah, but who's going to believe that? And…I could have just taken a picture as a proof. Goodness, I'm so foolish. Now what? I better not tell anyone the Governor sent for me because it's going to add to my humiliation.

"I'll just face whatever they have to say" I thought firmly. Carrying my backpack, I walked out of my room to see dad. He looked up but scoffed as soon as he saw me.

"I said you aren't attending that school."

I ignored him as I sat at the diner, stuffing the bread in my mouth. He doesn't
