Claude shuffled through the papers in her hand as she watched her classmates filter out of the exam hall. She hadn't done too badly on the test, but her mind was preoccupied with a strange feeling she had encountered Lady Macbeth earlier. As the last student exited the room, Claude took a deep breath and made her way over to Lady Macbeth, who was still sitting at her desk, sorting through the exam scripts. "Excuse me, Lady Macbeth?" The air was thick with the scent of must and mold, and she could see cobwebs hanging from the ceiling.As Nuella walked over to one of the shelves and picked up a book, it crumbled to pieces and fell at her feet. She reached for her phone on the nightstand, only to realize that she had missed her alarm and was already an hour late for her test.
