"Elsie, let's make use of the bed," he croaked, desire intensifying in his eyes.

At this point, Elsie noticed the bed behind them. It then dawned on her that she was in his childhood room, a place she had only seen once before.

Her cheeks turned red.

She clapped her mouth, struggling to contain the erupting laughter building in her. A wild laugh escaped out of Elsie. She teased, "Sure!"

In order to tease him more, she went over and sat on the bed, her fingers feeling the softness of the grey sheets. Gasping, she called him by wiggling her hand, "This bed is so comfortable. We might even forget why we are here."

But when she noticed his expression had not changed, she realized he had been serious. The smile on her lips collapsed. She tried to reason with him, "You can't be serious, Aiden. Not here and not now."
