"This is too expensive! Auntie can't accept it!" Naomi quickly pushed the wine back into Kathy's arms. "You young people work hard, I absolutely cannot accept it. You should take it back and let your father drink it."

"Auntie, my dad already has some, please just accept it." Kathy stuffed the wine into Naomi's arms and waved goodbye before huffing and puffing up the stairs with Dominic.

"Auntie was so good to me when I was young. In these past few years when I wasn't at home, Aunt Naomi, Aunt Milly, and our families have been taking care of each other."

Dominic nodded, feeling unfamiliar with this kind of neighborly relationship. He had never experienced things like slaughtering chickens or exchanging gifts with neighbors before.
