Chapter One hundred and thirty five

Carissa believed Dominic was using Kathy to get back at her, and that he would return to her side when the time was right. After hastily closing the email, Carissa remembered a compressed file she hadn't opened. Upon extracting the file, she discovered Xavier didn't have a dark history. With a cold laugh, Carissa closed the email window. "I'll let you off the hook for now. If you don't have much of a dark history, then I'll create one for you."

Meanwhile, Kathy and Dominic were discussing business. "Kathy, how's the new file coming along?" Dominic asked, visiting Kathy's office for the umpteenth time that day.

"CEO, you already asked me this question two hours ago. I've already sent it to the sales director according to your instructions, and it'll be officially launched on Monday," Kathy replied, slightly annoyed.

Dominic nodded. "Then I'll wait for your good news. Also, our project has just started, and we'll need your help and Abigail's in terms of manual planning."
