Chapter twenty one.

“Dominic…!” Kathy gasped for air as his lips melded with hers yet again. She tried desperately to free herself from his hold, but he was too strong for her and in that drunken state, he seemed unaware of his actions.

Lost in a haze, Dominic had the feeling of being with Carissa once more. He yearned for her to stay, longing to express his desire to love and care for her his entire life, but alas, she left him without hesitation, leaving him to wander and live a sad, lonely life in the big city.

"Carissa, you've finally returned," Dominic exclaimed, tightly embracing Kathy and showering her cheeks and lips with kisses. Kathy was completely taken aback.

Under the influence of alcohol, Dominic persistently called out the name Carissa, unknowingly mistaking Kathy for someone he had loved in the past.
