After last night, in fact, after the whole of yesterday, I realized what I wanted. I wanted Bella to be mine forever. I know it’s a long shot considering the dynamics of our relationship, but I’m willing to see how it goes. I have nothing to lose.

All through the night, I didn’t want to let her go, whenever I noticed she was no longer clutched in my arms, I immediately would wake up and pull her right back into me.

I felt at peace. Despite all the other bad stuff that was happening around us, I felt a real calm within me just having this woman in my arms and at the thought of us doing this forever.

Yesterday, as we cooked and ate together, I imagined our kids running around us, asking for a taste and just being a nuisance.

The thought warmed my heart and I decided to discuss it with her when she woke up. I’ll start with us having kids. It’ll be easier to convince her to be mine forever if we have something deeper connecting us.
