“I am not going anywhere with you,” I said sternly. “Especially not back to the Winter pack.”

“So, you’ll come with me wherever, as long as it isn’t the Winter pack, right?” He said.

Sliding out of his grip, I turned around and looked into his eyes.

“Alpha Kian, this doesn’t suit you. Whatever you are doing. I am sure you have better things to do than to waste your time on a rogue. How about actually finding out the truth behind the deaths and disappearances? I didn’t come here to waste my time on you either.”

“That’s exactly what I want to know. Why did you come here? Out of all places you could’ve gone, why did you come to Xafran?” His icy cold eyes pierced through me.
