Chapter 27

I noticed two things when I woke up. The first was I was not in my bed. The last thing I remember was sitting on Goof's lap in the clubhouse main room. I came to him after a rough night at work. He comforted me and made all my worries disappear. while sitting on Goof's lap I felt like everything would be alright. He would be there. I guess I was so comfortable I fell asleep. But where am I and who brought me here? The other thing I noticed was a hand on my stomach and weight on my hip since I was laying on my side. The hand is moving back and forth across my stomach as the baby moves around. " Easy little one. Let mommy sleep a little longer." a voice says. Goof. That explains who brought me here. I open my eyes and look around without moving. I don't want Goof to know I'm awake yet. He is still talking to my stomach. " Mommy works too hard and deserves some extra sleep." he says to my stomach.
