Chapter 20 Meeting the Fiance

Loraine’s Pov

Despite knowing what their intention towards me why they want to see me, I still pretended like I didn’t know the reason at all.

I opened the door, facing the three knights who were sent by the Alpha King’s grandmother. My eyes fell onto the few maids who were pretending to be doing their work, but in fact, I could already see their ears not enlarged as they pretended not to listen to my conversation with the knights.

I sighed helplessly and let them be. Anyway, it seemed that the Alpha King’s grandmother had no plans on letting me escape, given the fact that, in her eyes, it was because of my existence that the so-called relationship between the Alpha King and Pauline had grown worse.
