Chapter 90 - Plans

A week later at Shalom and Kane's house. 

"Welcome," I say to Jay when I open the door. He smiles and walks with a six-pack of beer in one hand and a bottle of wine in the other.

"I come bearing gifts." He says as he walks in. "I brought options, just in case you want either." He says as he walks into the house through the living room and outside into the backyard. 

"I appreciate options," I say and close the door. I walk to the kitchen and take two wine glasses and a wine opener. I follow him into the garden and find him sitting comfortably on the outdoor sitting staring at the fireplace with no fire on. 

"Where's the lady of the house?" He says taking the wine opener from me. He opens the bottle and sets it aside to let it breathe. 

"She went to the spa," I say and he smiles.
