Twenty

I wake up hours later to footsteps coming towards me. I still and try to remain still not knowing who it is even though at the back of my mind I'm thinking it is Aiden. His cologne gets to me first and I instantly relax.

"I woke you up." He states, his voice raspy.

My eyes dart to the large clock on the wall. "No, it's okay. I should be waking up in an hour." I look at him and he seems to have showered given the different set of clothes and freshly shaved jaw. "What happened?" I yawn before stretching. Aiden looks at me, dazed and I raise my hand to my hair to ensure it doesn't look crazy. I don't move a lot in my sleep so my hair isn't a problem most mornings but him looking at me like that makes me conscious.
