A Lie That Nearly Cost My Life.

"Lock her up!" insisted Alpha Ammon.

Thank God Leah was never killed as had been suggested by the evil Derek.

"She will die if no one attends to her wound on time," I said, while still reeling from the pain Ammon had inflicted on me when he tried to make me open up aboutout who Leah was. I have no idea if my request sounded appealing to the alpha.

"No one should attend to her," he said. He turned to me, "but you Louis can attend to her after she is kept under our maximum watch." The alpha turned to leave but then, halted his movement. "I almost forgot, a witch who is going take care of her when we are gone to Murdoch?"

I need not told what her intention was at that moment. He simply implied that we should let Leah die since we will be leaving for Murdoch that morning. I knew the alpha was desperate and would do anything to break his curse. If I must save Leah from the hands of death then, I must come up with a witty plan.
