"Don't even think about it. That will be your worst mistake," whispered the alpha into my ears, while he pressed his weight on my back. He stayed in that position for some seconds before pulling back.

Puzzled by his strange warning, I inquired, "What are you talking about? Have I sinned against you?" I was scared because his look had changed from being friendly to rude.

"Witch, I know what you have been thinking about," he began. "I know what you were thought about when gazed at this window," he said, pointing at the window which was close to where we stood.

Shocked, I turned around to face him. How did he know that was exactly what I had in my mind? Was this alpha a psychic? "How did you know what I had in mind? Did you read my mind? Well, I wasn't thinking anything related to that," I lied. My lies were necessary. I feared he will get more furious at me if I tell him the truth about my one-minute escape plan.
