The Dilemma

I brought out the magic book and then checked on the ring I picked in the basement. Mr Smith was fully concentrated on directing the horses on which way to go therefore, there was no way he would turn back to check what I was doing.

I opened the pages of the book for the second time ever since I found it. I tried to read the first page a little bit but, was unexpectedly interrupted by Mr Smith.

"Lydia!" He called and quickly turned around to face me as he began to speak. "What the hell was that?" He asked appearing to be astonished.

"My book of course, is there any problem?"

"No, not at all! I have no problem with that but, I was wondering where the hell on earth did you hide the book you are holding in your hands now the whole time we have been interacting?"

"I think that's none of your business, Mr Smith. It's my book and where I hide it certainly, has nothing to do with you, does it?"

"No, it doesn't! By the way, you have a good book with a nice cover."
