Chapter 37

Leah's Pov

I clenched my fists tight as I watched Lousianna walking towards me.

"Who is Leah?" someone asked. Lousianna approached me and said, "Hello Leah, I never believed you would make it to my wedding, after all that happened."

She hugged me, and I smirked underneath the mask. "What a liar," I thought inwardly, "those who see her will think she is loving and kind."

As Lousianna let go of me, she somehow managed to remove my mask. I looked at her, short of words, tightening my fist.

"You shouldn't be covering your face, you should be open to everyone," she said. "No one will discriminate you because you are a thief; everyone has their reasons for doing things, right?"

She turned towards everyone in the garden, smiling. However, everyone had a disgusting look on their faces. "Isn't she the one who stole Lousianna's design?" someone asked, disgust evident in their voice.

"Oh my," someone exclaimed covering their necklace, "I need to insure my necklace now, what if she steal it."
