Rose laughed at the waiter knowing how easy it was to fool him. She stood by a pillar with the beer mug in her hands, waiting for a certain group of boys. She eyed the beer warily and took a sip just to know how it actually tasted . She had never really had beer before because she didn't prefer strong drinks. Her nose immediately scrunched up. Yep! Definitely strong, she concluded and decided not to have it again. Why would someone have something so strong and nasty? She thought.
The boys were now passing by a pillar, not aware of the surprise that was waiting for them. As soon as they reached the pillar, someone appeared out of nowhere and bumped into them. The brunette had spilled beer all over the big bully's jacket. As if once was not enough for the day, the poor boy thought."What the hell dude?" He exclaimed."I'm so sorry. I didn't see you there," Rose said innocently and immediately reached for the jacket. "Let me fix this." She slipped the jacket only halfway down his arms and twisted it round in a manner that his arms got locked. With that she immediately pulled the zipper up, trapping them completely. She was well aware of his two minions hanging beside him on each side."Girl what are you doing ?" One of them asked. She turned abruptly showing that she didn't notice him there. Her hand with the beer glass moved freely and landed on the minion's face. More like his nose and a terrible ache immediately pierced him. "Oh I'm so sorry I didn't see you there !" She faked her surprise and dropped the beer glass in surprise that smashed on the floor, breaking into a hundred splinters of glass."Oops . I'm so sorry I didn't mean to do that either." The glass had pierced the the third minion, an inch above his ankle. She immediately bent down to help getting the glass out if his leg. Instead, she tied his show laces together so that he'd trip. She saw the jacket man wanting to leave to clean up in the bathroom. She stretched her leg out making him trip and fall down. The second one with an injured nose moved to help so she slightly shoved him and he fell too. While the last one didn't notice that his shoe laces were tied together and tried to help his friends, only ended up falling on top of them as well. The whole scene happened in seconds that didn't even leave the boys the time to react."Sorry," Rose mumbled sheepishly while she made her way back to the dance floor, leaving the boys groaning in pain on the floor. She didn't do much harm to them as she knew the were only high school kids and a slight punishment would suffice as they didn't cause any harm to Lily either. She giggled and bumped her feet in the air while making her way to the dance floor. The girls started dancing, losing themselves in the music unaware of the fact they had captured everyone's attention. The song currently playing was their favourite jam 'hips don't lie' by Shakira. The way they swayed their hips to the beat had all the men drooling over them. But among those they had also captured the attention of certain two devils, who were hidden from everyone's view, yet were admiring the view they had."I love this song!" Lily shouted to let her voice be heard through the loud music. Her hips swayed erotically to the music making her feel sexy."Yeah? And what happened to your cramps now?" Rose scoffed, shaking her body to the music."A little dance never hurts," Lily winked.Vincenzo was sitting in his office at the club, waiting for his brother to make his appearance when a certain blonde caught his attention. She had immediately caught everyone's attention as soon as she stepped foot in the club. Why wouldn't she? It wasn't a very hard task with the beauty she carried. But Vincenzo was feeling a little more curious about her. Maybe it was just attraction; he couldn't really wrap his head around that feeling. Just by one glance she had stirred something within him. He felt restless. He felt excited and wanted to be near her. Maybe it was because he hadn't gotten laid lately. But that was not it. He wanted her to notice him, but he knew she wouldn't. She seemed oblivious of any attention and continued making her way to one of the corner tables. She was furiously trying to call someone but had bad luck at it. He had a clearer view at the table she chose and was glad for her selection. He could now see her even clearly with her flawless skin, those silky bl
Vincenzo and Dante were impressed as they watched the girls speed down the road. They gave each other a knowing look. "Who were they?" Dante asked in a daze."I have never seen them here before," Vincenzo shrugged. He had the records of everyone who entered his club but he had never seen the two of them before. But he knew he was surely going to find the enticing blonde who captured his attention in no time. And then it would be easy to track down Dante's girl as well, as she seemed to be a friend of the blond. He remembered the real reason they were present at the club for."What was the news you wanted to share?" The question came out in a deeper voice."Oh yeah, you remember Derek?""The snake?" Vincenzo asked taking a sip of his wine. Dante nodded. Derek was a part of their gang when their father was the leader. They were close friends and Derek happened to be the third in command of their father. While his other best friend James was the right hand man. The trio was impossible to
Rose was having a peaceful sleep when Lily barged in her room wearing a silk night dress. "How can you still be sleeping after knowing what dad is doing?" Her voice exploded in the room. "What the hell did I ever do to you that you can never let me sleep peacefully girl?" Rose asked groggily, irritation lacing her voice as she looked at the time. Hell! it was only 9 in the morning. She could at least have slept for two more hours, she thought. "Dad has grounded us for three days for the stunt we pulled yesterday!" Lily screamed in Rose's ear. "Jesus! First of all we didn't pull the stunt, you did. Thus you are grounded not me. Secondly it doesn't bother me as I'm not the one who always want to go and party all the time. So it's your problem. Learn to deal with it! Now let me sleep." Rose declared stuffing her face under her fluffy pillow. It was true. Rose's perfect day would include just sitting at home doing absolutely nothing and enjoying takeouts! She was not the travelling or
As soon as James came out of his office, Lily bombarded him with questions. "Dad how can you do this? You cannot just ground us for three days. I mean three whole days! Do you know how long that is! Plus it's not like we committed a sin or something!" Lily continued her ramble while Rose chose to have her breakfast instead of listening to her sister blabbering. James joined them at the breakfast table. "First of all I grounded only you because I know Rose was not involved in the stunt if it wasn't for you, secondly remember to knock before you barge into my office." James sighed at earlier situation. "Dad it's not the first time I did that. By the way who were they anyway?" Lily asked curiously remembering those grey eyes. This question caught Rose's attention as well and she looked up from her bowl of cereal, waiting for her dad to reply. "They were my best friend’s sons," James replied after sipping his tea."You mean David? Didn't you work for him?" Rose asked now getting a litt
Dante's expression fell immediately when he saw a red laser light dot appear on Rose's forehead. She was obviously not aware of what was happening. As a reflex, he snaked his arm through her waist and pulled her away from the spot to his chest. Almost that instant a bullet went off and Rose screamed at the sudden fire. She was surprised at what just happened and looked baffled seeing the bullet that was now stuck in the middle of the same wall she was standing in front of, not seconds ago. Almost instantly many gun fires were heard and Dante immediately pulled Rose behind a pillar all the while shielding her body. There was panic in the hall and people started screaming as they heard the gunshots. He pulled out a gun from his waist band before slipping it into Rose's hand."Use this if necessary," Rose nodded. It was not the first time she was holding a gun. Her father had trained her and her sister well for situations like these. Dante was about to leave her to deal with the bastards
Rose was running her mind over the whole situation that took place just a few minutes ago."I can see the wheels turning in your head," Dante commented while still keeping his eyes on the road. She looked at him and boy did he look gorgeous. He was making her stomach churn with excitement. Being in the same car with him made her feel giddy. What is wrong with you Rose? Get a hold of yourself. You don't do boys! She thought. "I was just ...curious," she hesitated, her gaze fixed on his jaw line. So sharp, it could easily slice anything. "About what Rose?" Dante rumbled in his deep voice making the slightest shiver pass her. God! Why did he have this effect on her. "You," Rose eyed him curiously and the words left her mouth without her even taking notice of it.Dante swore his heart skipped a beat at her response. "You… you know what is happening. Yet you and your brother along with dad are keeping things from us." Rose immediately added to her previous answer raising her ey
Lily was sitting alone in the living room, all bored, questioning her existence. Honestly she pondered over how tough life can become being a part of the mafia family. From losing your mother to dealing with weapons and learning to fight when you are not even willing. Her thoughts ran off to what it would be like to just be a normal girl; not having to worry about anyone trying to get you killed or trying to get your family members killed. "What are you thinking so hard about?" Vincenzo broke her chain of thoughts as joined her on the couch. "Nothing," she replied tiredly. "By the way did you find any news on that bastard?" "We are trying. I have contacted my best trackers and they are doing their work. We have your father's support so we will surely get somewhere in a while," Lily nodded. Vincenzo took a moment to take in her features. Her flawless skin, her rosy cheeks, the cute button nose, everything about her made him feel excited. "You know you do something to
"Why are you walking so close to me?" Lily questioned eyeing Vincenzo warily. "I have to be alert at all times. Your safety is my priority," he replied looking ahead of her. "Yeah well I'm sure your guards are doing a good job," she scoffed eyeing the guards who were scattered around the whole mall. She shook her head when she saw they didn't even try to hide the fact that they were out protecting someone. She meant they could have just acted like normal people dressed in casual clothes and still look after her. One of the reasons why she always wanted to go out without guards. They just attract too much attention. "I don't trust anyone with you," came Vincenzo's short reply. They had already shopped a lot. Vincenzo had bought everything Lily set her eyes on, not caring about her protests. He even made Lily try out some dresses that he wanted for her and immediately bought after assessing them. She obviously looked breathtaking in each dress. "I'm tired can we go
