Three days of darkness, hunger, and thirst in the dungeon have reshaped my priorities.

My sole focus now is to complete my job, uncover the truth about my identity, exact revenge on those who've wronged me, and perhaps, just perhaps, find a glimmer of happiness in a life that's been forever scarred. But hope is a luxury I can hardly afford.

The avoidance game was over. He'd finally called my bluff, requesting my presence in his chamber at 8 P.M sharp. The clock was ticking, and I couldn't help but wonder what lay in store for me tonight. It was time to face the music.

I stared at myself in the mirror, the blue lacy gown matched my skin perfectly revealing my curves and my beauty. I packed my hair in a messy bun and proceeded out of the room.

Exhaling, I placed a tiny knock on the door and I heard him asking me to come in.

I entered and I noticed he stood still, his heart breathing rapidly, I took a step and another until I was close to him, my eyes blazing with intensity “You
