Delilah's POV:

"Who killed so many of us?" Someone said from the crowd.

"Who dared lay a finger on King's warriors?" Bellowed someone else.

"Who was behind this attack?" Asked another one.

"They have killed so many of our pups, this is a declaration of war!" Came a roar from somewhere behind me.

Xander folded his hands behind his back and stayed quiet. He gave the families time to mourn their loved ones and other pack mates to fume in anger.

Once enough time had passed and the horrific screams had subsided to breathless sobs, Xander moved forward and addressed everyone, "Last night, while we were patrolling the forest like every Full Moon, we were attacked."

Shocking gasps and murmurs chorused through the crowd as they demanded answers about the attackers.
