Delilah's POV:

When we made our way back to the party, they were all done with the dinner. Xee made a small speech and announced the important changes that had taken place recently.

Now it was time for guests to move to the hall where they were to dance and end the night with zeal and smiles.

Adeline rushed over to me and her eyes popped out of their sockets as she took in the big diamond that was now resting on my ring finger.

Her jaw dropped, "Is it finally happening or I am in a dream?"

Luke gave a manly hug to Xee and patted his back as if he had returned victorious in some battle.

Adeline too threw her arms around me and sniffled, "I always knew that it was now going to happen soon but still, I can't believe that it's finally happening. Nevertheless, I am so happy for you, Dee."
