Chapter 56: Who escaped from the palace?

“We need five horses that are well-fed and strong,” Harold explained to the guards. He threw a pouch full of gold coins to the guard. The guard caught the pouch in time and bowed his head deeply.

“I will bring them to you now, milord." The guard replied, his eyes lit up in joy at the huge amount of gold coins given to him.

The guard left them to prepare the five horses. Some minutes later, he came back with five healthy horses and handed them to Harold and the men next to him. The guard bowed his head before leaving them to stand back in his position.

“Your Highness,” Harold said, showing Rayne the horse. Rayne mounts the black horse while his men, including Dennis, mount the other four horses.

“Hei” They nudge the horse by the side, and the horse neighs and begins to gallop through the sandy ground.

The horse continues to gallop until they pass the marketplace and some of the small villages in Eldoria.

The villagers stop what they are doing to look at the group of men
