Let's Leave This Pack

The huge door separated me from the outside world, leaving me locked up in this cold dark cell room. But I had to get down, it was the first step that I had to conquer if I wanted to make it to Damon before my father attacked.

I paced around the room, thinking of a way to get out of here, the windows were off limits as I was at the very top of the tower, there was no other way to escape than through the door.

But how was I going to convince the guard outside my door to let me out? I slammed my fist against the wall when I couldn't think of anything.

An idea popped in my head.

I stepped back from the door and faced the wall opposite it before I knelt down, covering my face with my hands.

"Help! Help me please! There's something in here!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, still feeling pain in my throat from all the shouting.

I heard the guard panic before peeping through the hole, his heart thumping loudly in his chest.

"What's wrong?" He asked worriedly and I faked a cry and my words.
