ASHLEY’S POV

All day, I worked very hard with the other servants of the pack.

Cleaning, preparing meals, washing, fetching coal for the fireplace and all the other tasks.

Unlike the other workers I had the most tasks, even Lisa noticed it.

“Your tasks are times two of ours or even Jenna who is the most stubborn servant.” She said. “Why?”

I shrugged. “I don’t know.”

“Do you need some help?” She asked me.

I waved it off with a smile. “No don’t worry. I don’t need it. Thank you so much. I won’t like to stress you. I’ll be done very soon anyways..”

And then I went back to work

We were ordered to serve the dinner meals and a number of servants and I found ourselves lining up to serve the meals to the senior pack leaders.

I saw Alpha Lima sitting down at the head of the table, his eyes were stuck on me.

I tried my best to ignore it and focus on my duty.
