After destroying the illusion array, a thunderous noise of stones and iron being forced open resonated. Crows screeched as the centuries-old tower wall was revealed foot by foot followed by the unopened gate being moved. The enormous chains grunted like a roaring giant in the dead of midnight. Piles of dead branches from the mountain-high wall that the werewolves right below had to move a meter away from the opening part of the wall.
