Diana's Plea

The comfortable warmth from her right hand was the first thing that registered in Diana’s hazy mind as soon as she regained a semblance of consciousness.

Her eyelids her heavy and no matter how much she tried to move, she couldn’t.

‘What is happening, Teshin?’ Diana asked her wolf.

Silence answered her.

For the first time, Diana’s wolf was nowhere to be felt. It was as if a void was in her soul—vast emptiness that was growing by the minute.
