Surrounded by scorpions ten times their supposed original size, a huge red-furred wolf stopped killing in an instant. The murderous intent that shrouded the group of crimson-furred wolves suddenly vanished.

In the vast sea of sand, a bloody battle continued for hours already. Piles of scorpion carcasses and wolf corpses littered the surrounding of the makeshift arena between the two species.

From time to time, a gust of hot breeze would bring a bloody stench.

Under the scorching sun, even when the fight started a few hours ago, the corpses started to get affected by the direct great heat. The foul smell started to emit from the rapidly drying carcasses as desert pests started to appear in small numbers over time.

‘Alpha! Watch out!’ Rios Scarlet, who was now in the form of a spotted black beta-size wolf, dashed behind the towering yet frozen red wolf. His huge body collided with the leader of the giant scorpions.
