The sound of breaking echoed once more. The omegas loitering around the gloomy and cold corridors were long used to it. If it was before, they would have scampered away for fear of being implicated, but after getting used to it, they turned a blind eye to it already.

On the other hand, behind the iron door, Shananel glared at the men before her. They were the subsidiary leaders of the Werewolf Committee across the seas. She called for their reinforcement yet they failed to meet her expectation.

“Fools! All of you! I only ask you for one simple task and you failed miserably!” Shananel swiped her table once more, but there was nothing left to shatter. Dissatisfied with it, she kicked the table instead.

Merlin chuckled without a sound as he stood behind Shananel. “If we can’t defeat them with tactics that you are proud of, why don’t you leave the planning to me?”

“What did you say?” Shananel asked in a low yet dangerous voice as she slowly turned around.
