Kevin's POV

Liam and I were at the supermarket to get some groceries and i hoped a disagreement didn't come out of this. Ella would have come here by herself but the boys didn't sleep as we had expected them to so she had to stay over and watch them.

Everything seemed strange as we moved through the aisle, watching the food items. We weren't going to stay this long but it seemed like we have used almost an hour already and there was nothing in our basket. It would have been better if Ella had come here by herself since she was familiar with the human world more than we were. She had once helped out in the kitchen when she had been with the count and would have seen the things they brought from the supermarket as groceries. It wasn't that I was proud of her stay there—as I always had to force myself to control my temper anytime I remember that my mate had once been taken as a slave by someone, a mere mortal man—but I felt she would be able to use the knowledge she had used in this scen
