Chapter fourteen

With my hands over my face, I could feel my heart racing. What was he doing here? How could he even come out of the bathroom naked?

I swallowed, with my hands still over my face, as I got off the bed where I’d been seated, looking for the pain relievers. "I’m so sorry, Alpha." I didn’t mean to. I swear, I didn’t know you would come out so soon." I told him as I made for the door, but then I didn’t know that something was on the floor.

I stumbled on it, and just as I was about to fall and hit the ground, I crashed into his hands—those muscular arms that made my mind go nasty. I swallowed as I stared at him, my eyes now open, and I could see his shiny eyes. Damn, how could someone look so heavenly?

"I swear; I didn’t know you would be out of the bathroom so soon, Alpha." Please forgive me." I begged him, and he smiled as he stared at me.

"I had warned you not to step on my tail, didn’t I?" He asked me, and I swallowed in even more fear; he had indeed warned me.
