I nodded and left Ruby to her thoughts, taking her advice to heart. Alpha Michael's guards were assigned to assist, and I needed to make the most of their presence.
As I walked out of the area, I spotted a group of pack members congregating just on the other side of the entrance to the hall. Among them was a familiar face, someone who looked like their leader. I approached him with a quizzical expression.
