For the past eighteen months, Thalia had never slept this way, she was always in one trouble or another and the pain was like her companion but today was different, she slept peacefully, that was one luxury she never thought she could feel in her miserable life when she started waking up, she used her hand to search for Todd on the bed, but the space was empty, she opened her eyes staring at the side of the bed, she thought she felt his presence in the room last night, he was here but how come he was no longer there.
