Third Person’s POV

Hogan took Elizabeth to her room. And when they got there, they sat on the bed, facing the window.

On the thin branches outside, new buds were growing.

“I only figured out that I am a Gypsy person when I heard about my Mother’s story. Georgina said that she was a Green Person. And so, I tried to slice myself and see if I had my Mom’s blood.”

“You cut yourself?” asked Hogan. His face was filled with worries. “That’s dangerous.”

“I know. But in that way, I learned my identity and I figured out a way to buy time. Also, I was reassured that you’ll be okay, my King.”

The two of them looked at each other.

“Gypsies were loyal to the King, Henry told me about this,” Elizabeth said, holding his wounded left hand. “Max was my mate. But I chose you and fell in love with you with all my heart. Not because I have Gypsy’s blood, Hogan. It was because I really do love you.”
