My eyes fluttered open and I found myself in Aiden’s room. How did I even get here? I turned around to see Katie sleeping beside me.

I tapped her gently several times and she jolted up from the bed. “Noah, oh my goodness! I’m glad you’re awake now.” Katie said, sitting up straight and placing her hands all over my body, as though she was trying to feel my temperature.

“What happened? Why am I in Aiden’s room?” I asked, a confused expression registered on my face. I couldn’t remember walking to his room. “What time is it?”

Katie’s eyes widened in shock. “Wait. You don’t remember walking downstairs?” She asked and I shrugged. “You fell down the stairs.”

“What?” I tilted my head in confusion. Everything was a blur, I couldn’t even remember leaving my room. The last thing I remember was Katie telling me to rest my head for a while.

“Maybe it’s just the effect of your fall. Go back to bed, you need to rest.” Katie said.
